What do you get when you add:
one dangerously clever domestic goddess,
a fondness for ear wear,
a penchant for power tools,
and a small mountain of old wood scraps?
I know what you're thinking......a really bad cable show
demonstrating how to make dog houses out
of recycled tuna cans....I think not!
Instead P.S.Original was born.
Thankfully it requires no apparent social skills,
and a basic wardrobe that can be washed in any temperature setting.
I love working with my hands and creating artistic and functional pieces.
I try to use recycled wood and fixtures when I can.
Half the fun is finding that perfect piece of molding
or those old rusty latches and knobs.
When I don't feel like getting dirty I enjoy making jewelry
out of all the stray beads I've collected over the years.
I usually have many different projects going, too many sometimes.
I still haven't figured out what to do with all the old egg cartons!
Although....now that I remember, my mother made a Christmas
wreath out of holly, gold spray paint, a shoelace, and an egg carton.
It came out every holiday......back in a minute.....got some recycling to do!

My Favorite Photo
I was born a twin, although I was the first one to appear, so maybe that makes me the normal one. Anyway, my mother was fond of Toni perms in the 50's and thought our straight blond hair could reap the benefits of that products curly promises......questionable! The hair solution was so nasty all the windows and doors had to be opened, any food product left out on a counter had a slight mystery flavor, the cat stayed outside for a week. And the end result...well, my twin and I refer to that period as the "duelling Bozo's"
"Absolutely gorgeous--even better than the photo! Lightning-fast shipping, impeccable packing, friendly correspondence. A perfect transaction."

What great ideas you have and very smart way to use odds'n ends..
The finished projects are lovely.
I think you look cute with your sister..
Your work is lovely and so useful!! hehehe...I can't tell you how many Toni perms I've had in my life. I decided about 20 years ago I was never going to have a perm again. I'll live with straight hair. Your picture is adorable!
Oooh! I am working on egg carton projects too! haha!
Fantastic creations! I love your little bird shrines!
